Team leadership across globally distributed locations, the leadership at a distance, presents both the manager and the team members with special challenges.

The demands in Distance Leadership become more complex, as u. a. Coordination effort and virtual communication need to increase. This requires specific know-how in order to build trust and social closeness despite spatial separation and, on the other hand, to work in a goal-oriented manner.
